11 Months

This month has been one of my favorites so far. Life has been so busy and full of so many fun and good things! We are really enjoying this fun age the boys are at!

But getting a picture of them together. It's not happening.

We started out the month by celebrating Matt's birthday! He is the big 27! We had a birthday weekend and enjoyed lots of yummy food with lots of fun people! The boys especially loved Tucanos.

We spent an afternoon visiting my wonderful Twinsistafriend cousin Callie. The boys love her. She's just the best.

I feel like this month the boys have finally become friends. Before they usually ignored each other or were annoyed at each other. But now they don't go anywhere with out each other. One will crawl away and the other is right behind him. Double the trouble is an understatement when it comes to those boys.

The new favorite game- pressing their faces up against the glass. It's a riot.

The cutest Walking Dead Baby that I ever did see.

We went to Moab for a weekend to enjoy the warm weather and do some hiking. We camped at Dead Horse Point State Park. I'd never been there before and was amazed at how beautiful it was!  There was some amazing overlooks that had the most beautiful views of the canyon below.

We've taken the boys camping before, but it was last summer when they were really little. This camping experience wasn't quite as seamless as the last experience. We had quite a bit of crying and fussing and just generally orneriness when it came to bed time. But we made it work and they eventually fell asleep. They slept through the night and didn't wake up cold, so that was a success.

The next day we went to Arches.

The boys weren't too keen on camping, but they LOVED hiking. Honestly, I've never seen them smile so much as they did while we were hiking. But really, who wouldn't love to be carried around while looking at the amazing views of Arches?

I got Matt a Gopro for his birthday, so we enjoyed trying it out on our trip.

The boys were fascinated with the Gopro. When they were fussy in the car I would just give them the Gopro and they would suck on it.

A summary of our trip. It was a really amazing trip!

Grandma and Grandpa Kirk came over and we had a yummy picnic on our new picnic table they built us for Christmas. They were a little apprehensive sitting on our old swing. Luckily, it didn't break.... yet.

The weather has been really nice lately, so we've been going on lots of walks and going to the park.

We went to my Grandma's for an Easter lunch and Easter egg hunt. The boys are practicing up on their piano skills.

Easter hunts have been a success. Jameson loves to pull all the eggs out of the basket and then chew on the eggs.

Carter loved riding on Daddy's shoulders.

The boys are spoiled and had several Easter outfits to choose from. These outfits were from Grandma.

Easter outfits #2. These boys are just too adorable not to take a thousand photos of them. (And it usually takes that many photos to get one good one).

We planted that peach tree when we moved in 3.5 years ago. Its amazing how big it has gotten in just a few short years!

We enjoyed a nice April Fool's day, until Grandma came over to watch the boys while I was at the gym. I came home to a couple of pranksters.

And we ended the month with a new cousin! Cousin Abrem was born on April 2nd. We are super excited to have a new cousin! But also sad that he is in California we won't get to see him until May when they come and visit.
