10 Months

The babies are 10 months old! Pretty soon my babies won't be babies any more. Breaks my heart!

Sometimes all you want is your brothers empty water bottle.

Just being a couple of cool guys.

After nap time fun

Watchin' some George.

The hungry little bear at the zoo.

We got this way fun tunnel for the boys to crawl through. Jameson was NOT impressed. Matt thinks Jameson is going to have nightmares about the tunnel.

Totally candid, super funny picture. Like Father like son.

Makes me laugh every time.

The boys went on a play date with the cousins at Grandma's house. Carter put Jameson to work.

They were spoiled by the grandparents with Valentines cupcakes.

They thoroughly enjoyed those cupcakes.

This is the latest and greatest game. We all love it.

For a brief week it was very warm and sunny. Utah tricked us into thinking it was spring. The boys loved exploring the grass and seeing how many leaves they could stuff in their mouths without me noticing.

That face. So goofy.

Both boys pull themselves up on to everything. They love to carry around toys and hit them against the table or the walls, or the floor or each other.

After the table then they move on to the bench with the mirror and they talk and giggle at themselves.

We ditched the babies for a night and went to a Brazilian party. It was really fun. Lots of yummy food and some Brazilian dancing.

We left the boys with uncle Eric and aunt Charlie. The boys love Charlie and they are excited to get another Aunt!

Eric and Charlie's engagments- the cutest.

Just gettin a ride on Daddy's shoulders. Notice the count down chain in the back ground. It's counting down till Matt's graduation, and we couldn't be any more excited about it!

Carter preparing for his role in the next Christmas program as one of the wise men.

I may be biased, but they are definitely the cutest twins at church! Those matching ties! It kills me, they look so grown up.

And then we ended the month with sickness all around. Everyone has been sick and it was finally time for the boys to get sick. They are still their happy goofy selves with just a lot of extra snot.

We're looking forward to Spring and lots of fun adventures ahead!

9 Months

Another great month has gone by! This month was pretty mellow.

We rearranged the boys room and put their cribs next to each other. Its been fun to listen to all the giggles during nap time. They like to share toys from one crib to another, which also leads to a lot of cries as well. Jameson has learned to pull himself up on the crib and will find the baby wipes on the changing table and will take them and dump them in Carter's crib.

We've been on some really fun play dates with some other babies in our ward. All of the boys were born within a month of each other. It's been fun to get all the babies together! Contrary to what Carter's face says, he has lots of fun.

The boys have now officially been out longer than they were in! It is WAY more fun having them out! Especially because that pregnancy back pain was no joke.

We went on a family date night to Cubby's in Spanish Fork a few weekends ago. It was really yummy food and the boys loved people watching.

And of course we had to get a family selfie!

Thanks to pinterest we tried out the laundry basket in the bath, and it has been amazing! The boys are able to sit up without sliding around and it keeps all their toys in one spot. It makes bath time a lot more fun!

Bathing the boys by myself can be an adventure. Since I can't leave a baby in the tub alone while I take one baby out. I have to leave a baby on the bathroom floor while I take one to the bedroom. Jameson was left on the floor and decided to crawl around.

The boys now love to sit on the top of the chair in the living room and look out the window.

The window definitely has quite a few more tiny hand prints then before.

This is just a sample of the mischief they seem to get themselves into.

Play time with the curtains.

Shopping has always been super hard logistically for me. I can never seem to find a good way to shop with both babies by myself. But now that they can sit up on their own I have started squeezing them into the top of the cart together. They love it.

The baby gate finally came up out of necessity. And now its the new place to pull themselves up.

 This guy is just hilarious.

Matt and Carter on the ice at Utah Lake.

The boys love watching Curious George, and Matt really loves watching it with them. He gets disappointed if we have to stop the show early.

Matt and Jameson. Just the cutest!

Here's some photos from our Valentines photo shoot.

8 Months

This month has been crazy, awesome and fun with a ton of new developments for the boys!

Both of the boys sit up really well. And now they are both mobile! It literally took off over night and each day they get faster and faster. I thought it was hard having two babies that just laid on the floor, but now I know its really hard keeping track of two crawling babies!

Time lapse of da babies crawling.

Our new favorite game is to have a baby race. We put a piece of food in the center of the room and see which baby will get it first. Right now Carter has been winning most of the races because he LOVES food. Nothing comes between that boy and food.

This guy and this smile melts my heart.

Jameson enjoys long baths, good food, and walks on the beach.

Jameson is a goofy baby. He's always smiling and making faces. Here are a few of his regular goofy faces.

They started using real high chairs to eat their food. They are getting the concept of grabbing and putting the food in their mouths.  But they still get about 90% of the food on the floor.

They have mastered the art of teamwork. And they enjoyed the fruits of their labors. I am sure Carter was the brains behind this plan, because like I said, nothing gets in the way of that boy and food.

My parents took all the grandkids to the movies. Carter was being a little fussy so my dad took him out of the theater. He came back in a little later with Carter and showed us the fun pictures they took in the photo booth.
Overall they did really good for the first time at the movies! They did a lot better than they do at church!

This month Carter had a minor surgery. The hardest part for him was fasting all day before the surgery because of the anesthesia. And the only thing he wanted after the surgery was FOOD.

Matt gave Carter karate chop back massages to distract him before the surgery.

The surgery went well and Carter is back to normal. They let him keep the anesthesia mask, which is one of the most fought over teething toys.

We celebrated our 5 year anniversary up in SLC and we took the boys with us.

We had really yummy food at the Cheesecake Factory. Did tons of shopping at City Creek and enjoyed the lights at Temple Square.

We went to the aquarium on our way up to SLC. The boys were fascinated with all the fish.

Then we stayed the night at a nice hotel in SLC. The boys did really good and loved playing on the huge bed! It was a really fun anniversary trip, and we loved spending it with our boys!

Christmas was a blast this year! We enjoyed every minute with da babies.

Building gingerbread houses.

On Christmas Eve we discovered Carter's first tooth!

Christmas morning opening their stockings.

The aftermath of Christmas. They were very spoiled babies.

Matt's sister Alissa made these awesome beard hats for the boys. It was seriously hilarious to watch them look at each other with them on. They didn't recognize each other and would just stare at one another.

We got some family pictures taken for our Christmas cards. They turned out really cute, even if the babies refused to smile.

Can't believe how fast the time is going, pretty soon my babies will be a year old! See you next month.
